* Opere Prime
Driven by a commitment to the evolution of musical art, the support of composers, and above all, the desire to ensure continuity with tradition, the festival has curated its program each year with expressions of contemporary creativity. The act of commissioning new works has always been the hallmark of Classiche Forme, setting it apart on the international stage. Thus, the tenth-anniversary celebration is marked by the release of the album 'Opere Prime', a collection of the festival’s first nine commissions from 2017 to 2025—penned by world-renowned icons of international music and by established young Italian compositional talents.

"Commissioning new works does more than just expand the classical repertoire; it prevents the soundscape from crystallizing around the past and introduces fresh perspectives and genres. Creating new commissions strengthens a direct, living bond with contemporary audiences, offering new sonic experiences and themes that resonate with our time," states Beatrice Rana.
