Luca Bandirali (PhD) is a researcher in Cinema Photography Television at the Cultural Heritage Department of the Università del Salento. He collaborates with the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Conservation and Management of Audio-Visual Heritage course). He was author and conductor of the radio broadcasts Hollywood Party and Wikiradioon Rai Radio 3 from 2005 to 2020. He is founder member of the Centro di Ricerca Interdipartimentale in Digital Humanities at the Università del Salento. He was the manager of the Media Studies branch of the Scuola di Placetelling of the Università del Salento.

His research interests involve cinema philosophy, cinema and television aesthetics, cinema and television seriality geocrtiticism, theory of cinematographic acoustic field.He published for academic journals including 'Comunicazioni sociali', 'Cinergie', 'Imago', 'Fata morgana', 'L’avventura', 'Mediascapes', 'Arabeschi', 'H-ermes', 'Lingue e linguaggi', 'Scritture migranti', 'Geotema', 'Quaderni del CSCI'; he collaborates with the digital journal 'Fata Morgana Web', with the magazine 'Lingua Italiana' of Istituto Treccani, with the journal 'Bianco e Nero'. Among his published books there are: Musica per l’immagine (2002); Mario Nascimbene compositore per il cinema (2005); Musica/regìa (2008); Concept TV. An Aesthetics of TV Series (2021), Medium loci. Spazio, ambiente e paesaggio nella narrazione audiovisiva (2022).

Luigi De Luca is director of the Castromediano Museum in Lecce and coordinator of the biblio-museum poles of the Puglia Region. He directed the Institute of Mediterranean Cultures of the Province of Lecce. Also for the Province of Lecce he held the role of head of the Youth Policies, Integration and Peace Service and set up and managed the support fund for audiovisuals, Salento Film Fund. Among the founders of Apulia Film Commission he also held the position of vice president. He began his career as a theater operator at the Pugliese Public Theater, first participating in the organization of the Salento edition of the International School of Theater Anthropology, then playing the role of director. He landed on a public career in the cultural field after studying at the University of Bologna. He has a degree in semiology and, as such, a specialist in nothing, an "amateur by profession".

Alma Mileto is postdoctoral fellow in L-ART/06 at the Modern Literature and Culture department of Università La Sapienza in Rome. She is research doctor in Music and Performing Arts at the History, Anthropology, Religion, Art and Performing Arts department of the Università La Spienza with a thesis entitled 'La voce del reale. Il rapporto voce-immagine nel cinema documentario' (The voice of reality. The voice-image relation in documentary film). She wrote essays and articles on scientific journals and high-end magazines (Fata Morgana, Arabeschi, Biblioteca teatrale, Cinema e storia) as well as on edited books. She gave lectures in several Italian and international conferences. She is editor-in-chief of Fata Morgana Web.
