Maria Pia Ammirati

Currently Director of Rai Fiction, Maria Pia Ammirati is a television executive, writer and journalist.
After experiences as a journalist and militant critic, she joined RAI in 1992 and since 1993 she has been involved in radio and television programs as programmer-director, author and presenter.
In 2000 you moved from the Educational Directorate to Rai Uno, holding various roles until you reached the position of Deputy Director.
From 2014 to 2020 you are Director of Rai Teche, from 2016 to 2019 you are assigned the responsibility of Content RaiPlay.
In November 2020 you were appointed Director of Rai Fiction.
Maria Pia Ammirati is the author of novels and numerous publications. You have received several awards, including: Selection for the 2001 Strega Prize, Selection for the 2011 Campiello Prize, Procida Prize, Basilicata Prize.
You are a member of numerous literary juries including the Strega Prize, the Viareggio Prize, the Rapallo Prize.
Since 2019 Maria Pia Ammirati has been a member of the Board of Directors of Rai Pubblicità, from 2017 to 2020 she was a member of the Board of Directors of Rai Cinema S.p.A. she and from 2020 to 2021 she was President of the Istituto Luce-Cinecittà.
